What Is CBD?

A nonpsychoactive cannabinoid Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a chemical compound found in the cannabis sativa plant. When applied topically or consumed through smoke inhalation or edible consumption, CBD interacts with neuroreceptors in your endocannabinoid system, which sends signals between your cells to help regulate your movement, mood, homeostasis and immune system.

What is CBN?

A plant-derived compound, like cannabidiol (CBD) and over 100 other cannabinoids found in a full-spectrum hemp oil or extract product. CBN is formed after the Cannabis sativa (cannabis) plant is harvested as a degradation product of THC. When THC is exposed to excessive amounts of heat and light (aka oxidation), it turns into a unique metabolite: CBN. CBN in larger doses can produce a mild psychoactive reaction.

How does CBN affect the body?

Gently reacts with the CB1 receptor, but it binds better to the CB2 receptor but still at relatively low potency.

What is Delta-8 THC?

It's Delta-9’s "nicer, younger sibling." Delta-8 tetrahydrocannabinol, also known as Delta-8 THC, is a psychoactive substance found in the cannabis sativa plant. It is a naturally occurring cannabinoid that’s found in small traces in hemp and cannabis (marijuana) plants. Both produce a euphoric, fuzzy feeling, but Delta-8 causes a milder high.

What is Delta-9 THC?

It is a cannabinoid molecule in marijuana (cannabis) that’s long been recognized as the main psychoactive ingredient—that is, the substance that causes people who use marijuana to feel high. This cannabinoid interacts with the CB1 receptors that are located in the brain, responsible for many processes in the mind such as decision-making, memory, and others. This powerful compound is said to provide effects such as excitement, euphoria, anxiety, perceptual and visual alterations, restlessness, and
others. The effects can be very intense for some users, while others enjoy the out worldly experience. Please note, Delta 9 provides more intense effects and, if not used in the proper dosage, can give side effects such as mental fog, motor skills impairment, severe anxiety, and even paranoia.

What's the difference between Delta-8 and Delta-9?

Both cannabinoids have similar properties, but they provide diverse effects, and they interact with the receptors in the brain with different intensities. Delta-9 is much more intense.
